Metfone Organises Free Medical Check-Ups And Gives Gifts To Over 600 Underprivileged Individuals In Kampong Chhnang Province
On April 7, 2024, Viettel Cambodia Company (Metfone) organised free medical check-ups, distributed medication, and presented over 600 gifts to disadvantaged individuals in Kampong Chhnang province, as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.
To contribute to the effort to improve and protect community health in Cambodia, Metfone Company organised a program to provide screening services, medical advice, and free medication to underprivileged individuals living and working in Kampong Chhnang province. The main aim was to help detect and treat diseases promptly to enhance the health of beneficiaries.
During the program, doctors conducted health examinations and provided health advice to over 600 people. The medical team distributed appropriate doses of medication depending on the health conditions and illnesses of the beneficiaries. For chronic cases, doctors provided thorough advice and guidance on seeking specialised medical services that suited the beneficiaries' conditions.
At the event, Metfone company leaders also presented over 600 gift packages containing essential items to support and improve the lives of the underprivileged.
