Digital Integration in Healthcare: ABA and Pethyoeung Sign MoU to Streamline Digital Payments

ABA Bank, the largest commercial bank in Cambodia, announced a strategic partnership with Pethyoeung, a leading local health-tech company, to streamline digital payments across Cambodia's healthcare sector.

Under this partnership, ABA KHQR will be integrated as the default payment method within Pethyoeung's billing platform, serving its affiliated healthcare providers, including clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies nationwide.

By rolling out ABA's QR API on cashier screens and invoices, customers can expect a more seamless and simplified payment experience, thereby further enhancing efficiency and security.

On June 25, 2025, the signing ceremony was attended by Zhiger Atchabarov, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at ABA Bank; Pong Limsan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pethyoeung; and respective teams from both entities at the ABA Bank Head Office.
