Wing's New SME Service Helps Employees Jump The Queue
One of the Kingdom’s leading mobile bankers is expanding its services to help private companies.
Wing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has started offering a range of options for employees to access their accounts online. SME Business director Sovithya Sothy said the bank wanted to acknowledge the growth of the SME sector and make banking more convenient for workers, who no longer needed to queue up to receive their salaries.
Wing’s SME Business Manager Vantheth Hong said online banking also saved companies money. “There are many SMEs in Cambodia and banking services have been expensive for them until now,” he said. “We believe we are making life better for them too. “The price is very affordable. We are offering some packages especially for SMEs, others for big companies and can even tailor a deal according to an individual company’s requirements.”
One of Wing’s partners in the SME venture is Lyly Food, whose marketing manager Chhan Sreypov said mobile banking was making life better both for them and their 300 staff. “It is now easier to receive money from our customers and easier to pay our staff,” she said.
