In a heartfelt show of strong solidarity and compassion, employees of Wing Bank have come together to donate USD 200,000 from their salaries to assist families in urgent need, displaced by the ongoing attack by the Thai military forces against Cambodia.

Approximately 5,000 employees contributed 5 per cent of their December 2025 salaries to support the “Foundation for Refugees Assistance”, an initiative led by Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wing Bank and Chairman & CEO of Royal Group of Companies; and Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan, Vice-Chairwoman of the Royal Group of Companies and President of the Khmer Artists Association.

“During challenging times, unity is essential,” said Sheanghai Lao, Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Royal Group of Companies & Chief People Officer at Wing Bank. “I am deeply grateful to everyone for their generosity in supporting those in need. Together, we will continue doing our best to stand by our nation.”

This effort aims to deliver urgent relief to hundreds of thousands of Cambodian families in provinces most affected, including Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Pursat, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Koh Kong, and Siem Reap.

On 16 December 2025, Neak Oknha Kith Meng contributed an additional donation of USD 2 million to support displaced families. This contribution comes on top of his donation of USD 2 million made earlier this month through Samdech Techo Hun Sen, bringing his total support to USD 4 million.

This generous act reflects the unbreakable spirit of solidarity among Cambodian leaders, businesses, and citizens during times of crisis.

This marks the third round of donations from Wing Bank employees since the border dispute began in mid-2025. The first contributions were made in June, and the second in August, demonstrating their continued commitment to standing with those in need.

In addition to the recent fund donation, Wing Bank and the Royal Group of Companies delivered vital aid in August 2025 to more than 2,000 families affected by the border conflict in Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, and Siem Reap provinces.

Generous public who wishes to join this effort can make donations at the collection point near Bayon Market (west of Central Market), at the Cellcard Head Office; or conveniently donate via the attached QR code through any bank.
