Wing Bank, a key partner of the Ministry of Commerce, commends the Ministry for successfully organising the Cambodia Trade Expo (CTExpo 2025). The Bank recognises the event’s important role in strengthening national trade and supporting SME growth, reaffirming its commitment to helping Cambodia advance through strong partnerships and practical financial solutions.

The four-day exhibition highlighted the growing strength of local manufacturing, with more than 60 per cent of showcased products coming from Cambodian SMEs. During the Expo, Wing Bank presented its financial and digital services designed to meet the daily needs of SMEs, helping them grow and compete in regional markets.

“Giving SMEs better access to financing, digital payments, and market opportunities is essential for Cambodia’s development,” said Bunthe Hor, Deputy CEO of Wing Bank. “Our aim is to make it easier for local businesses to operate, grow, and reach new markets. We thank the Ministry of Commerce for creating a space where businesses can connect and learn from each other.”

CTExpo 2025 brought local exporters together with buyers and investors from key markets such as China, Indonesia, and India. The event also offered trade seminars, a panel discussion on SME export readiness and digital skills, business-matching sessions with Korean investors, and live cultural performances—giving SMEs more exposure and learning opportunities.

Following the government’s Pentagonal Strategy – Phase I (2023–2028), which focuses on SME development, export growth, digital adoption, and industrial expansion, this year’s Expo directly supports national efforts to help more SMEs enter global markets. Cambodia exported around USD 24.94 billion worth of goods in the first ten months of 2025, a 15.2 per cent increase from the same period last year, showing rising international demand for Cambodian products. This growth helps increase income for local communities and supports Cambodia’s goal of achieving upper-middle-income status by 2030 and high-income status by 2050.

Wing Bank remains committed to offering financial and digital solutions that help Cambodian SMEs grow in a changing global market. As this is the second consecutive year that Wing Bank has supported CTExpo, the Bank looks forward to continuing its work with the Ministry of Commerce to help businesses grow and strengthen Cambodia’s economy.
