Ucare Pharmacy, Cambodia’s leading pharmaceutical network, announced in June 2025 that it is expanding its footprint with the upcoming opening of two new branches—one at Techo International Airport and another in the heart of Koh Pich—as part of a strategic collaboration with OCIC Group

The first will open at Techo International Airport, making Ucare the first pharmacy chain to sign an agreement for on-site services at Cambodia’s future international airport. Set to begin operations in September 2025, this opening will ensure access to trusted pharmacy services for travelers, airport personnel, and nearby communities. In parallel, OCIC has confirmed that Intercare Hospital will also launch an Intercare Clinic within the airport, providing additional clinical care on-site.

This will be followed by the opening of a second Ucare Pharmacy branch in the heart of Koh Pich in October 2025. The Koh Pich location will serve one of Phnom Penh’s fastest-growing urban districts and is strategically located near Connexion Hub, GIA Tower, and surrounding residential areas. It aims to meet the growing demand from families, professionals, and visitors for convenient, high-quality healthcare access.

This partnership reflects the strategic importance of integrating reliable and accessible healthcare services into large-scale urban developments. It also marks a new phase of growth for Ucare, which has over 20 years of experience in Cambodia and is recognised as the country’s first and most comprehensive network of stores dedicated to health, wellness, and beauty. With a team of trained pharmacists and nearly 30 branches nationwide, Ucare continues to bring healthcare closer to where Cambodians live, work, and travel.

"I think it’s truly the right time for Ucare Pharmacy to open a branch on Koh Pich. A few years ago, it might have been too early, but now that the Koh Norea Bridge is open—bringing new traffic from the Mekong shores to the city center—Koh Pich has become a new destination for residents and businesses seeking a safe, quiet area surrounded by green spaces.”said Pascal Catry, French pharmacist and CEO of Ucare Pharmacy. “OCIC has done a great job attracting shops and restaurants to serve the needs of this growing community."

For OCIC Group, this collaboration supports its integrated vision of urban development with health and well-being at the core. Already active in the medical sector through Intercare Hospital (three branches) and Olympia Medical Hub, OCIC continues to shape holistic ecosystems that blend infrastructure, mobility, economy, and healthcare.

“OCIC is committed to building complete, livable hubs designed for the future,” said Thierry Tea, Vice President of OCIC Group. “Having both Ucare Pharmacy and Intercare Clinic at Techo International Airport—alongside Ucare’s presence in Koh Pich—strengthens the health dimension of our vision. We believe urban planning must combine infrastructure, education, mobility, economy, green space, and of course access to healthcare.”

This partnership with Ucare marks a new chapter for Cambodia, one driven by investment in modern, accessible healthcare solutions that align with the country’s urban growth. A shared vision between the two partners, it will come to life with the opening of Ucare pharmacies—first at the airport in September 2025, followed by Koh Pich in October.
