A new luxury hotel operated by Germany-based TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts has officially opened in Sihanoukville, with nearly 200 rooms available to welcome guests during the Green Season.

The opening ceremony, held on May 5, 2025, was attended by H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and H.E. Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk province.

H.E. Huot Hak expressed his appreciation to the TUI German hospitality group for its decision to invest in Cambodia’s growing tourism sector. He emphasised the country’s tourism potential, along with the strong incentives and support provided by the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Artur Gerber, CEO of TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts, stated that this hotel is the first of many planned investment projects in Cambodia. The company’s presence in Cambodia is based on the country's strong tourism potential and vibrant culture, in addition to the cooperation and support of all stakeholders.

The launch of TUI BLUE Sihanoukville follows a working meeting held between representatives of TUI Group and the Cambodian Minister of Tourism during the Berlin International Travel Fair (ITB Berlin) in March 2025.

Located in the heart of Sihanoukville, the 17-floor TUI BLUE Sihanoukville has nearly 200 rooms and is equipped with modern facilities, including a swimming pool, conference hall, and ballroom.

Sihanoukville has recently welcomed the opening of several international hotels and resorts, including the launch of the Novotel Sihanoukville Holiday Resort in 2024, and the opening of JATI Island by Shinta Mani Hotels – a resort resembling the Maldives – in April, 2025.

TUI Hotels & Resorts manages over 400 hotels and resorts worldwide under more than 10 renowned brand names.
