The EuroCham Garment & Manufacturing Committee welcomes the US government’s decision to reduce tariffs on Cambodian garment and footwear exports, a move that restores confidence and signals a step toward renewed bilateral cooperation.

The outcome reflects ongoing dialogue and advocacy by public and private stakeholders, and the chamber commends the Royal Government of Cambodia’s active engagement in these negotiations.

“This decision provides breathing room for manufacturers and an opportunity for brands to reinvest in Cambodian supply chains,” said Emerald Am, Chairperson of the EuroCham Garment & Manufacturing Committee. “We urge our members to seize this momentum by doubling down on labour compliance, gender equality, and sustainability innovation.”

EuroCham states it remains committed to supporting its members in leveraging trade incentives, expanding sourcing opportunities, and further aligning with global due diligence and ESG requirements.
