The Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology confirms new Board

The Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology (CAFT) has confirmed its new board and committee chairs on 9 February 2021. The association said, "The new Board and Committee chairs are excited to pledge their commitment to making smart and lasting policy decisions – guided by best practices, careful research, constructive debate, and values to promote financial inclusion and education towards its members, FinTech community, and the whole of Cambodia." The new board and committee members are:
  • Remi Pell (iPay88): Chairman
  • Frandara (Dara) Khuon (TrueMoney Cambodia): Board Treasurer and chair of PSI Committee
  • Chantha SOK (Prudential Cambodia Life Assurance PLC): Chair of  Community Committee
  • Borann Kea (AMK Microfinance Institution Plc.): Board member
  • Tomos Pokorny (PiPay): Secretary-General Membership Committee chair
Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology confirms new Board 2021 Pokorny said: "I am proud to continue my role as Secretary-General and newly as a Membership Committee chair, to further commit towards our vision to connect and bridge regulators & private sector with fintech community, towards the ultimate goal of support of financial inclusion and digitalization of Cambodian Economy. The last two years were extremely challenging for the country and CAFT as well, but as we grew and gained our ground, we have seen that the next term is poised to be much, much bigger, more successful, and definitely more impactful." The Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology plans to announce the 2021 AGM shortly.
