Star Auto’s Mercedes-Benz Dealership Opening Next Week
Star Auto (Cambodia), the Kingdom’s authorised Mercedes-Benz general distributors, will officially open the doors of their new Phnom Penh Autohaus with a grand opening ceremony this coming Tuesday (February 28) from 8am.
The event will be presided over by Minister of Information Khieu Kanharith, with specially invited guests including Minister of Environment Say Samal and Ministry of Commerce secretary of state Tek Rethkamrang. This ceremony represents the conclusion of a two-year project to build a new dealership that can display the range of 16 different premium models offered by Mercedes-Benz. These include passenger cars, such as the CLA, CLS, S-Class, and the GT, sport utility vehicles like the GLA, GLC, and GLE, and vans like the V-Class and Vito. Prices start from $90,000. In addition, the new 5,000-square-metre facility – which was designed and built by Daun Penh Constrcution – has a world-class workshop capable of carrying out all manner of mechanical, electronic, and accident repairs.
The large parts storeroom will also allow Star Auto to significantly increase the supply of spare parts that are kept in country. Star Auto will also be holding an Open House on March 3 and March 4 from 10am to 5pm for customers and fans of the Mercedes-Benz brand to visit and tour the dealership.
