AKP Phnom Penh, November 18, 2025
The Ministry of Tourism, in collaboration with the National Committee for the Management and Development of Community-Based Tourism and Ecotourism, as well as relevant ministries and institutions, will organise the 4th National Ecotourism Forum from 24–25 November at Sokha Siem Reap Hotel in Siem Reap province.
According to the ministry’s announcement on 18 November, the National Ecotourism Forum is a major annual event for Cambodia’s ecotourism and community-based tourism sector.
The Forum will bring together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, national and international NGOs, development partners, and, notably, community representatives from across the country.
“The Forum serves as a platform for all actors to exchange ideas, review achievements, discuss challenges, and propose practical solutions and strategies in a spirit of sharing, participation, and joint responsibility for the development of ecotourism and community-based tourism in Cambodia,” the ministry said, adding that the event will also feature a community tourism and ecotourism exhibition.
The Ministry of Tourism has called on the public, tourism associations, community-based and ecotourism communities, tourism operators, private sector partners, national and international NGOs, development partners, and all relevant stakeholders who are interested or wish to share work outcomes and research findings, to participate in the aforementioned event.
