Savour Singapore: A Culinary Celebration Opens with Exclusive Preview at Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh

Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh officially opened ‘Savour Singapore: An Authentic Culinary Journey’ with an exclusive, invite-only preview on the evening of August 7, 2025. The special event marks the beginning of a three-day culinary showcase in celebration of Singapore’s National Day.
Held at Senses Restaurant, the opening night welcomed an esteemed gathering of guests, including His Excellency and representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore; valued business partners; industry leaders; and media friends. This special evening served not only as a culinary showcase but also as a platform to strengthen relationships and foster deeper connections among distinguished attendees.

Renowned guest chef, Nixon Low, Director of Culinary and Beverage Operations at The Robertson House by The Crest Collection, presented a menu that paid tribute to the bold and nostalgic flavors of Singapore. Guests were treated to a refined dining journey crafted with his globally recognised expertise and passion for storytelling through food. The dishes received glowing feedback for their authenticity, creativity, and balance of tradition with modern finesse.
“Singaporean cuisine is a beautiful tapestry woven from our nation’s diverse heritage. Each dish tells a story—of tradition, innovation, and the spirit of our people. It is a true privilege to bring these flavours to Phnom Penh and to share a part of our culinary soul with such a discerning and appreciative audience," said Chef Nixon Low.

Throughout the evening, guests were serenaded by an elegant live duo whose soulful performance added a sophisticated touch to the ambiance. The gentle harmony of live music, engaging conversation, and exquisite cuisine created an atmosphere of understated luxury—perfectly capturing the spirit of the evening: a celebration of cultural richness, culinary artistry, and the timeless elegance of shared moments.
“At Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh, we believe that exceptional hospitality extends beyond service—it lies in crafting meaningful experiences that connect cultures and inspire the senses,” shared Damian Jung, General Manager of Oakwood Premier Phnom Penh. “This collaboration with The Robertson House is a celebration of refined taste, heritage, and the warm bonds between Singapore and Cambodia”.
Savour Singapore will continue on August 8–9, 2025, and is open to the public for both lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy “Heritage Feast: A 4-course Singaporean family-style set course menu" and “A Tribute to Singapore: A thoughtfully curated a la carte selections”—offering a rare opportunity to experience the essence of Singaporean cuisine right here in Phnom Penh.
