Oriental Bank Launches MCorp And ICorp For Corporate Digital Banking

On December 15, 2023, Oriental Bank introduced its latest digital offerings, Oriental MCorp and Oriental ICorp. The launch event was attended by notable guests, including Heng Bomakara, First Deputy Director General of Banking Supervision of the National Bank of Cambodia, and marked a significant stride in the bank's commitment to modernise corporate financial management.

Datuk Phan Ying Tong, the Managing Director and CEO of Oriental Bank, delivered a speech where he shared his enthusiasm for the launch and underscored the bank's ongoing dedication to delivering a seamless banking experience since its establishment in February 2022. He recalled the recent collaboration between Oriental Bank and AirAsia Cambodia, which introduced a new payment gateway service to facilitate e-commerce transactions for multinational companies, reflecting the bank’s goal to provide customers with efficient and secure payment solutions.
Oriental MCorp and Oriental ICorp are the bank’s new mobile and internet banking services specifically catered to meet the needs of its corporate customers. Datuk Phan highlighted that these new online services feature an account approval process that is capable of accommodating up to three levels of approval parties, with the flexibility to include up to five Authorisers at each level. This feature enables remote approval processes and eliminates the need for physical cheque signing, streamlining the approval process.

Besides simplifying the approval process, Datuk Phan asserted that Oriental MCorp and ICorp are designed to enhance customer convenience overall with the inclusion of new features such as the ability to:
- Consolidate statements from multiple client accounts, making it easier for clients to manage finances in one place;
- Generate QR codes to expedite payments;
- Seamlessly conduct bulk payment approvals through the Oriental MCorp mobile app.
