OCIC Recognised For Best Township And Sustainable Design At The 2024 PropertyGuru Property Awards In Bangkok

Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC), Cambodia's leading real estate and infrastructure developer, was honoured with two distinguished accolades at the 2024 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards in Bangkok. Koh Pich received the Best Township Development (Cambodia) award and was also shortlisted among the Top 3 in the Asia Property Awards, while Connexion was recognised as Best Sustainable Design (Cambodia), showcasing OCIC's efforts toward innovation and focus on environment.

These recognition from industry peers follow OCIC’s success at the 2023 Awards, where it won the Best Developer Award (Cambodia) and Best Waterfront Condominium (Asia) for Diamond Bay Garden, a landmark CBD residential project with stunning Mekong River views.

Growing Koh Pich Into A Central Business And Leisure Community

Koh Pich, a 100-hectare development formerly known as Koh Khlang, has transformed significantly over the past 18 years. Now home to over 15,000 residents and 7,000 office workers, it is becoming a growing hub for commerce, innovation, living, sport and entertainment. The neighbourhood hosts local headquarters of global companies such as Unilever, Nestlé, Maersk, KPMG, Legrand, Jotun, Minibea, AIA, Starbucks or JTI, and has welcomed international figures like Manny Pacquiao, PSY and Charlie Puth.

About 20 more F&B brands are set to open in Koh Pich in 2025. 

Connexion: A Hub for Innovation And Sustainability

Connexion, awarded Best Sustainable Design, is a mixed-use bio-climatic development situated in the heart of Koh Pich. Designed to foster collaboration, Connexion is a growing Tech Hub which is home to startups, entrepreneurs, and tech leaders.

Over 30 more innovative companies are set to move in by mid-2025.

In less than 6 months, Connexion hosted community events such as Cambodia Tech Catalyst supported by Google Cloud, Oktoberfest by German Business Cambodia, and Phnom Penh Saat. 

Regional Recognition Among Industry Leaders

OCIC’s accomplishments were celebrated alongside other renowned developers, including UOL Group, Sansiri, Sime Darby, SM, Ayala, Sinar Mas, New World Development, Gamuda Land or Zuhai Huafa, reaffirming the company’s standing as a key player in Asia-Pacific’s real estate landscape.
