The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI) and the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 3 December 2025 to enhance joint research, strengthen scientific evidence, and promote knowledge sharing in support of MISTI’s strategies, policies, and institutional objectives.

The signing ceremony was presided over by H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Dr Eng Netra, Executive Director of CDRI.

According to the press release, under the MoU, MISTI and CDRI will collaborate on research and policy studies related to MISTI’s priority sectors within national, regional, and global contexts; promote private-sector investment; encourage export diversification to drive job creation and productivity; and support the transition towards high-value-added, technology-based manufacturing, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
