Maybank Cambodia Hosts The First Maybank INVEST 2016
Maybank (Cambodia) Plc. hosted the Maybank INVEST 2016 event on 8 & 9 April 2016, with the objective to provide customers and the public with greater understanding on the importance of investing for the future and the opportunities available domestically and regionally.
Themed ‘Maybank INVEST 2016: A Wealth of Opportunities’, the event saw Maybank (Cambodia) Plc leveraging on its partnership with renowned domestic and regional health, education, and wealth management partners to help create greater awareness on the need to invest one’s assets, health, and family’s future in the best ways possible.
Held at the newly opened Maybank Tower on Norodom Boulevard, Maybank INVEST was officiated by Cynthia Liaw, CEO, Maybank (Cambodia) Plc, and included a host of activities focused on investments in the areas of wealth, health, and education, as well as personal care and lifestyle products.
These included a range of financial and investment products and services made available to help create awareness of local and regional investment opportunities. In total, ten booths were set up by well-known regional and local institutions including Pantai Hospitals, Raffles Hospital Singapore, Sunway Medical Centre, Far East Organization, JS Land, Oxley Worldbridge, Mainspring Learning Centre, Raffles International College, Manulife Cambodia, and Dermalogica Cambodia.
“As one of the leading ASEAN banks, we are able to work alongside our partners, to showcase investment and lifestyle opportunities and how Maybank’s regional network and solutions can serve our customers’ needs,” said Cynthia.
Attendees were also given an opportunity to meet industry specialists and regional experts who were specially invited to speak at the event. Ten seminars were conducted by the experts, covering topics such as ‘How to Identify & Profit from Global Opportunities’, ‘Everyone Can Own a Home Now’, ‘Common Hands Problems’, ‘Singapore’s Education in A Nutshell’, and ‘How to Build Your Wealth’.
The speakers included distinguished H.E. Dr. Sok Siphana, Managing Partner of SokSiphana&Associates, as well as the Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia, who was also present to deliver a closing remark on “How the ASEAN Economic Community can Change the Landscape for Investment, Healthcare, and Education for Cambodia”.
The event was opened to the public, targeting working professionals and young families as well as Maybank’s Premier Wealth customers.
Maybank’s Premier Wealth clients were also hosted to an exclusive Premier Wealth Gala Dinner themed “One Enchanted Evening”, held on the Rooftop of the Maybank Tower on 8 April.
At the event, visitors also had the opportunity to sign up for the Maybank Visa Debit Picture Card, Cambodia’s first personalized debit card, as well as having a first preview of Maybank’s latest innovation, the Maybank Mobile Banking. Qualified Maybank’s Children Savings Account holders also had the opportunity to attend a special Mathematics Workshop free of charge conducted by a child education expert from Mainspring Learning Centre Singapore on 10 April.
