J.F. Capital (J.F. CAPITAL CO., LTD), a company providing professional forex and contract for difference (CFD) services in Cambodia, has issued a press release with the intention of updating the public on the removal of its headquarters (HQ) logo and the current dysfunction of its communication channels due to a number of ongoing issues. The company, however, assures customers that it is still conducting business as usual.

The company assures customers that it is still conducting business as usual, however, would like to inform them on the following:

1. Due to the abandonned construction of a 4-storey building located behind the JF Capital CO., LTD headquarters – which shares the same building owner and currently has no roof, closed walls or proper drainage system – every time it rains, a significant amount of water has ended up flowing into the location of the company building.

Since July 2024, there have been three instances of flooding in the company office, causing serious damage to office equipment and decorations. The company notified the owner of the damage and requested that they take responsibility for repairs. However, the negotiation did not yield a positive result.

As JF Capital faced a difficult and urgent situation, the company sought out to conduct its own repairs and incurred USD 16,000 in costs. Therefore, the company requested the building owner to waive the cost of rent for the month of September, however, the landlord refused. With no resolution offered by the landlord regarding the cost of repairs, JF Capital delayed the payment of rent for the month of September. The landlord then accused the company of violating its lease, took down the company’s logo, and imposed security measures to bar employees from entering the building or operating the company’s equipment.

JF Capital is now working with the building owner to find a resolution that will allow the company to operate normally. The company will release another notification to the public once there are updates to share on this matter.

2. From June 2024 onwards, a former JF Capital employee in charge of the media department left the company and handed over the necessary information and passwords for managing the company's communication channels, such as the company website, Facebook page, and email. After this handover, no new employees were assigned to take over this media management role. In September, when the company's website went down, the company attempted to access its backend, but could not successfully do so because the email associated with the website had been modified. This issue also affected the company's Facebook page, which could not be accessed. Overall, the inability to log into the company's official email has impacted both its Facebook page and all other official email communications.

3. Due to the problems mentioned above, there has been considerable confusion among customers regarding JF Capital’s operations. Therefore, the company would like to inform the public that it is still conducting business as usual. However, at this stage, the company cannot serve customers at its location on #32, Street 315, Sangkat Boeung Kak 1, Khan Toul Kork, due to a ban imposed by the building owner.

 4. JF Capital has informed the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) about the situation. Currently, the company is coordinating to resolve the issue in compliance with the SERC's requirements.

If any customers or members of the public wish to contact JF Capital, the company’s official contact numbers are as follows:
