EuroCham Cambodia has announced the release of its ‘Business Pulse Survey – H2 2024’, the latest edition of the chamber's biannual report tracking business sentiment, sector performance, and investment outlook among European businesses operating in the Kingdom.
Drawing on input from 125 member companies across six key sectors – Agriculture & Food Processing, Tourism & Hospitality, Real Estate & Construction, Consumer Products, Financial Services, and Other Services – the report delivers critical insights into Cambodia’s evolving economic environment.
Key findings from the H2 2024 edition include:
- A marked improvement in revenue performance, with 30 per cent of businesses reporting earnings above or significantly above target– up from 20.6 per cent in H1;
- Stronger-than-expected results in the Financial Services and Real Estate & Construction sectors;
- A more cautious outlook from Consumer Products firms, highlighting divergent expectations across industries;
- Trends in market confidence, sectoral resilience, and emerging challenges and opportunities shaping business sentiment into 2025.
“This report is part of our commitment to equipping our members and stakeholders with meaningful, data-driven insights that support strategic planning and informed dialogue,” said Gabriele Faja, Chairman of EuroCham Cambodia. “As Cambodia continues to transition and grow, understanding what drives confidence and performance is more important than ever.”
