Emirates Airlines To Resume Phnom Penh Flights In May 2024
The Emirates airline has announced that it will resume its daily Phnom Penh service, starting from 1 May 2024, via Singapore. Pre-pandemic, the airline used to have a similar route to the UAE with a stopover in Yangon and then it changed to a stopover in Bangkok.
As one of the world's largest airlines, Emirates hopes to boost its Southeast Asian connectivity to/from Dubai and link the two regions - the news comes on the back of multiple trade and economic partnerships announced between the UAE and Cambodia.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer said of the announcement: “The resumption of our Phnom Penh services demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our Southeast Asian network, as we continue to create more opportunities for travellers to explore diverse and culturally rich destinations, and help businesses and exporters of all sizes establish stronger trade connections. We thank the Cambodian and Singaporean authorities for their support in establishing this new route. Phnom Penh - Singapore - Dubai Emirates Route 2024
The UAE airline said via its PR that the Phnom Penh-Singspore-Dubai service will be operated with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
First-class suites on the Phnom Penh-Dubai route The Emirates services will offer 8 first-class private suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 310 seats in Economy Class.
For details of the daily flights, please see below (all times are local):
- The Emirates’ flight EK348 will depart Dubai at 0230hrs and arrive in Singapore at 1405hrs.
- The flight will then depart Singapore at 1535hrs arriving in Phnom Penh at 1635hrs.
- The Emirates’ return flight EK349 will leave Phnom Penh at 2050hrs and arrive in Singapore at 2350hrs.
- The flight will then depart Singapore at 0140hrs the next day arriving in Dubai at 0455hrs.
