DMC Cambodia Hosts Landmark AI Tech Talk to Empower Cambodia’s Digital Generation

Phnom Penh, May 16, 2025 — The AI Tech Talk was initiated by Digital Marketing Consultancy (DMC), a government-endorsed, award-winning Malaysian company with over 8 years of experience in delivering digital transformation programs, AI upskilling, and corporate solutions across Southeast Asia.
Renowned for its impactful training frameworks and strategic industry collaborations, DMC has played a key role in shaping national AI and digital economy initiatives in Malaysia. The event drew more than 200 participants, making it the largest AI & Digital event by private entity by far.
Presiding over the opening session were Represented by Mr. Soeu Try, Deputy General of National Committee for Lifelong Learning from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and His Excellency Dr. Shaharuddin Onn the Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, whose presence reaffirmed the critical role of cross-border collaboration in developing Cambodia’s digital workforce.
Speaking on behalf of MoEYS, the Ministry representative reaffirmed the government's commitment to integrating digital and AI literacy into national education curricula — a strategic step to prepare Cambodian youth for future job markets and innovation-driven growth.
The Malaysian Ambassador commended this bilateral collaboration and spotlighted DMC’s Malaysian heritage and leadership as an example of meaningful regional cooperation. He emphasised the importance of ethical, inclusive AI adoption, expressing the possibilities of joint venture together for future Digital & AI initiatives.
The keynote session was led by Charles Gregory, one of South East Asia’s foremost voices in AI transformation, who outlined “10 AI Strategies Transforming Asia.” Attendees were shown how practical AI tools can reshape industries — from education and marketing to customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Beyond theory, the Tech Talk offered hands-on knowledge of proprietary AI-powered software platforms such as WizSpace.ai, DigitalKit.ai and Chatbot Automation for WhatsApp, Telegram and WeChat. Participants could adopt immediately in their work or studies to improve productivity by 10x, reflecting the event’s purpose: to not only inspire, but to equip Cambodia’s digital generation with tools for real impact.
This initiative echoes Prime Minister Hun Manet’s recent statement that “AI is just a tool — its impact depends on how we choose to use it.” With this in mind, DMC Cambodia’s work aims to ensure that AI becomes a force for opportunity, inclusion, and national advancement.
Through its regional learning programs, digital academies, and consulting support, DMC Cambodia is committed to helping Cambodia build a digitally fluent workforce — ready for Industry 4.0 and beyond.
