Dailymotion Advertising, a French global video marketing platform, has announced its entry into the Cambodian market as part of its ongoing expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.

This strategic move aims to position Dailymotion Advertising as a comprehensive video marketing platform, catering to the needs of advertisers in the area. Celebrating its expansion into Cambodia, Dailymotion Advertising organised a launch event on March 11, 2024, at the HighGround Skybar in Phnom Penh. The event brought together publishers, industry leaders, local partners, and advertisers.
Vijay Kunduri, Managing Director for Asia-Pacific at Dailymotion Advertising, is overseeing the expansion into the Cambodian market, in collaboration with Damrei Digital, a provider of media solutions in Cambodia.
Kunduri stated that this expansion marks a significant milestone in Dailymotion Advertising’s journey to become the leading full-funnel video marketing platform in the Asia-Pacific region. He added that Cambodia was selected as the next expansion destination due to its rapid digital growth within the region.
“We look forward to working with Cambodian advertisers to provide them with top-tier video advertising solutions and help them achieve their business objectives,” Kunduri said.

According to Dailymotion Advertising, their collaboration with Damrei was instilled with the aim to better serve Cambodian advertisers by leveraging local expertise and market insights in the delivery of advanced video advertising solutions.

The company has stated that this partnership will allow Dailymotion to provide clients in Cambodia with access to high-quality content while ensuring a safe and reliable advertising environment. Dailymotion was established in 2005 and was later acquired by Vivendi, a prominent French mass-media holding company based in Paris. Vivendi also owns various entities such as Gameloft, Groupe Canal+, Havas, Prisma Media, Vivendi Village, and holds a majority stake in the Lagardère Group.
