The National Institute of Posts, Telecoms & ICT acknowledged the winners of the Cambodia ICT Awards 2020 and Cambodia Women in Technology 2020 awards this week.

In total, ten winners were announced at a ceremony in Phnom Penh. Applications were open earlier in the year and the awards were due to be held at the Digital Cambodia expo, but it was cancelled due to the restrictions of COVID-19. This was the 6th time the ICT Awards have been held, and they are used to "motivate innovative uses of digital technology at all ministries, local private companies, startups, social enterprises, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other relevant institutions."   1. Best E-Government Service Of The Year: One Window Service Unit Service Delivery Management Information System, Ministry of Interior.
  2. Best Social Innovation Of The Year: DataU of Mekong Big Data.
  3. Best Digital Content Of The Year: Ey Sey Storytime of Osja Studio.
  4. Best Digital R&D Of The Year: Smart Valve and Smart Pump of Smart Farm Assistance (Sreylin Meng).
  5. Best Tech Startup Of The Year: Sala Enrollment (Leap Sok)
  6. Cambodia Woman Entrepreneur Award: Mrs. Koung Sorita, Founder of Ocean Technology Co., Ltd.
  7. Cambodia Woman ICT Engineer Award: Dr. Prum Sophea (A Phea Soso), Head of Products of Soramitsu Khmer.
  8. Cambodia Woman ICT For Community Award: Ms. Voneat Pen, Co-Founder of 606 Digital.
  9. Creative Digital Contents Award: Ms. Lomorpich Rithy, Founder of ភ្លើងគប់ Plerng Kob​ and BonnPhum បុណ្យភូមិ.
  10. Girl Innovator: Ms. Vornsar Ses from Liger Leadership Academy Foundation.
The Best E-government Service of the Year was the Ministry of Interior's data system used in Kampong Cham province. Meanwhile, the Best Tech Startup of the year was awarded to  Sala Enrollment - an online platform that allows students who have completed grade 12 to find details about the courses at universities and about scholarship news.
The Best Women's Entrepreneur Award in technology was received by Mrs. Kong Sorita, the founder of Ocean Technology Co., Ltd. which works on GPS products in Cambodia.
