Asia Digital Engineering (ADE) Launches ADE Cambodia
Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) subsidiary of Capital A, has launched ADE Cambodia Co Ltd (ADE Cambodia), a joint venture with Sivilai Asia Co Ltd, after receiving the Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) certification from the Cambodia State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA).
This is the first ADE entity outside of Malaysia to obtain business approvals and the Air Asia MRO will help “play a pivotal role in supporting the aviation ecosystem in Cambodia, leveraging its expertise to provide crucial MRO services not only to AirAsia Cambodia but also to other airlines operating in Cambodia's major airports.” said an official press release from the newly launched Air Asia Cambodia.
Founded in September 2020, ADE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Capital A Berhad and has been based solely in Klia2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where it leverages AirAsia’s Engineering Department’s best practices.
ADE Cambodia's operations will be headquartered at Phnom Penh International Airport, but will expand to other airports in Cambodia as well.
The airline is currently offering domestic routes between Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville and on 2 May - the new airline's first flight departed from Phnom Penh International Airport and landed at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport.

They have EASA Part 145 approval from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) “complementing an extensive array of existing maintenance certifications and authorisations.”
