ACLEDA Bank and Total Energies Marketing Sign Customer Financing Scheme Project MOU
On April 1, 2025, ACLEDA Bank Plc. (ACLEDA Bank), the first listed Commercial Bank in Cambodia, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Total Energies Marketing (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (TEMC), a global integrated energy company that produces and markets energies, on the Customer Financing Scheme Project.
Sok Sophea, Group Chief Operations Officer at ACLEDA Bank, said that ACLEDA Bank was pleased to sign the Customer Financing Scheme Project MOU with TEMC, and further noted that this was not the first MOU signed between the two companies.
ACLEDA Bank and Total Energies Marketing (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. has signed some past agreements and organised the 1st MOU Signing Ceremony in 2021. For both institutions, this is a good partnership for providing mutual services.
ACLEDA Bank Plc. has provided TEMC multiple financial services, including:
- Digital payments
- POS and top-up of Total membership cards
- Bill payments of Total wholesalers and retail at ACLEDA Bank's counters
- AC Super App
- ACLEDA Internet
ACLEDA Bank, in turn, also uses Total’s products and services, including gas refilling, car repair and maintenance.
Sophea added that this new MOU is to strengthen and foster the implementation of the previous agreements made between the two companies, so they are even more effective and efficient, while the 2nd MOU Signing Ceremony also now expands the cooperative partnership to providing all types of financing options to TEMC customers for business processes.
“It immensely benefits TEMC distribution station owners (dealers) in accessing multi-financial services with special rates and convenient terms, including ACLEDA credit services (Visa/Master cards), overdraft loans for ACLEDA Merchants, distributor loans, and trade financing services. In addition, through this MoU, we are committed to providing superior service and innovative financial solutions to meet the needs of all types of customers. It is also reflect the joint commitment of our two institutions to promote and provide transparent and innovative financial solutions to customers that drive sustainable growth in the entire community,” she concluded.
