Phnom Penh, 15 May 2025 - In a proud moment for Cambodia’s growing startup ecosystem, three young Cambodian entrepreneurs have earned a coveted spot on Forbes’ annual “30 Under 30 Asia” list for 2025.

Sou Sethey, Sou Sreyphoung, and Lylay Ung, co-founders of Jalat Logistics, a fast-growing last-mile B2B delivery solution in Cambodia, were selected from thousands of nominees, joining 300 other trailblazers across Asia cited for their excellence and impact in their respective fields. They were recognised under the “Retail and E-Commerce” category, for their innovative approach to transforming logistics in the country through technology and localized logistics solutions.

Founded just under three years ago, Jalat Logistics has quickly gained attention for its use of AI-powered operations and mobile warehouses, essentially mobile trailers parked at strategic locations across the city that allow delivery drivers to access parcels closer to delivery points, significantly speeding up same-day delivery for SMEs.

“In Cambodia, there is a growing appetite for e-commerce, and the challenge has always been reliable, reasonably priced, and fast logistics, both in urban areas and between cities,” said CEO and co-founder Sou Sethey in an earlier interview. “We wanted to solve that using technology and localised solutions that work for our country's infrastructure, our riders, and our SMEs.”

The startup caught the attention of international investors in 2024, securing funding from local tech conglomerate IG International Group, Singapore-based and Hong Kong's Venture Studios Satori Giants and X Venture Holding, signaling strong regional interest in Cambodia’s tech potential.

Jalat’s inclusion in the Forbes list places them alongside other promising and innovative startups across Asia and shines a spotlight on the emerging wave of young Cambodian entrepreneurs tackling real-world problems with scalable solutions.

While the Forbes recognition is a major milestone, the team says their focus remains on expanding operations and making logistics more accessible for businesses of all sizes across Cambodia.

Now in its 9th year, Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia is one of the world’s most respected lists, with past honorees including Melanie Perkins (founder of Canva), Harshil Mathur (Razorpay), Eric Gnock Fah (Klook), Tan Min-Liang (Razer), and global icons like BTS.
