The Startup World Cup – Cambodia Regional event is scheduled to take place on the 7th of April 2020 in Phnom Penh.
The tech event is organised by Pegasus Tech Ventures which is a global venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, USA.
H.E. Mr Sou Socheat, Director-General SECC (Securities and Exchange
Commission of Cambodia) is the main guest while other key dignitaries include H.E. Mary Kong (Advisor to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy & Finance)
Other speakers include Justin Jackson (SEA Regional Manager of Pegasus Tech Ventures) & Dato’ Sri Dr Peter Lim (Chairman of PLMP Venture Capital Co.).
Pegasus Tech Ventures regularly hosts startup pitching competitions (qualifying rounds) in many cities of the world and the annual final competition of the Startup World Cup is held in Silicon Valley each year.
The Grand Prize for the final winning startup is USD $1,000,000 investment prize, and the regional winner receives a USD $100,000 investment prize.
Various startups in Cambodia will be invited to come and pitch their projects to the judges to win the Cambodia regional & qualify for the semi-final & final round in the USA.
Applications for startups is free and delegate participation for the audience is also free.
