SEAN-U.S. Business Summit:  SMEs and Value Chain Integration Naypyidaw, Myanmar August 28, 2014

  U.S. Chamber members are invited to attend the 2014 ASEAN-U.S. Business Summit, which will be held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, on Thursday August 28, at the Royal ACE Hotel Naypyidaw.  The theme of this year's Summit is "SMEs and Value Chain Integration."  The event will include business representatives from the United States and all ten ASEAN countries. United States Trade Representative Michael Froman will participate, as will ASEAN Secretary-General Le Luong Minh, Myanmar Union Minister for National Planning and Economic Development Kan Zaw, Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs Charles Rivkin, and other government and private sector leaders.   The event will cover a number of topics, including SME access to regional and international markets, access to technology and innovation, and creating the right environment for SMEs.
