Asia FinTech Alliance (AFA) and the Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology (CAFT) have organised a webinar offering an overview of Cambodia’s new crypto regulations which will be presented by legal firm Bun & Associates on February 27, 2025.

The organisers said, “As these rules are fresh and evolving, the session will clarify key elements of the law and its impact on the digital asset space and explore the regulatory sandbox scheme introduced by Cambodia's Securities and Exchange Regulator.”

This webinar will offer a detailed overview of Cambodia’s newly regulated framework for crypto assets, focusing on the latest Prakas on Transactions Related to crypto assets issued by the National Bank of Cambodia (“NBC”) and explore the regulatory sandbox scheme introduced by the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (“SERC”). This session will uncover the unprecedented opportunities that this regulation creates for both foreign investors and local businesses. We will also highlight how this framework is set to transform the market in the new crypto ecosystem.
