Fundraising Dinner In Siem Reap

A fantastic dinner is coming soon at the Ballroom of Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra in Siem Reap to support the 15th anniversary of Sala Bai school. On Saturday 27th May, five renowned chefs will present a five-course menu to raise funds for this valuable non-profit hospitality school. The culinary brigade includes Michelin star chefs David Thompson and Sandro Falbo, who will join locally based Joannès Rivière of Cuisine Wat Damnak, Kimsan Sok from Embassy, and pastry chef Sopheap Un from Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. Sala Bai was established in 2002, with the aim of fighting poverty and human trafficking by providing free vocational training in the Hospitality Industry to young disadvantaged Cambodians in Siem Reap. The students come from families earning less than $40 a month, with a priority for females who traditionally have experienced more restricted access to education. We are delighted to host this charity event at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort with the funds raised going towards free education to students who simply cannot afford such training. Tickets can be purchased at Sala Bai School Siem Reap, Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra or even Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. Cost: $85 each, or tables of ten seats for $850
