The Digital Assets 101: Crypto And Blockchain In Cambodia (2024) has been organised by EuroCham and to be held on 1s August at BRED Bank in Phnom Penh.

The organisers said "In Cambodia, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) has taken a cautious stance on cryptocurrency. In 2019, NBC issued a ban on cryptocurrency transactions, and enforced this ban through financial institutions and payment processors.

The launch of the Royal Group Exchange -- a trading platform for digital assets approved by the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) -- has offered more intrigue into the fast-evolving world of digital assets."

This breakfast talk will provide an overview of the current digital asset and crypto landscape in the Kingdom and discuss the fundamentals of digital assets and provide a comprehensive understanding of the advantages and drawbacks of cryptocurrency and digital assets.
