After careful selection, these top ventures have been invited to present their businesses at Impact Hub's National Pitching event on Thursday 29th June to a network and jury who will be choosing the top 3 ventures as national nominees for the international selection.
This event will be open to everyone interested in social innovation and entrepreneurship to attend, offering the opportunity for the Phnom Penh community to learn about local ventures’ unique impact-driven business models.
“We are looking for ventures with proven business models that create value for their communities and are ready to scale internationally,” said Santu Boëthius, initiator of Accelerate2030 and co-founder of Impact Hub Geneva. “The aim of our 9-month customised support program is to enable startups to grow their impact across borders and connect them to the right partners for financing their journey to scale”.
Apart from the scaling program, ventures will join a week-long bootcamp in Geneva and participate in UNDP Social Good Summit in Geneva in October 2017, where they will pitch their solutions for the SDGs and connect with corporates, international organizations, entrepreneurs and impact investors.
The Jury:
Napoleon Navarro, Senior Policy Advisor at UNDP Cambodia
Sothy Khieng, Research Fellow at CDRI
Karen Moik, Investment Analyst at Insitor Management
Vincent Gradt, Independent Consultant and former Head of Impact & Thematic Investing at AXA Investment Managers
