Established in 2009 as a mobile payment service and provider enabling customers to transfer, deposit and withdraw money between each other via any mobile phone at low cost, Wing (Cambodia) Ltd Specialised Bank changed to a commercial bank rebranded as Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc. after being granted a licence from the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).
Wing Bank has expanded its network to more than 20 branches nationwide, while its head office is the impressive 25-floor Wing Bank Tower located in the centre of Phnom Penh.
As of 2024, Wing Bank offers 100 per cent coverage across all districts in Cambodia, thanks to the introduction of the Wing Bank App, and also has:
- Over 11,000 Wing Bank agents
- More than 165,000 merchants
- Various partnerships with leading companies like Prudential (Cambodia) Life Assurance, UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, Alipay, WeChat, MoneyGram, Western Union, Ria, and Oracle.
