ABA Bank was founded in Cambodia in 1996 as the Advanced Bank of Asia Limited. The bank is a privately owned financial institution as a commercial bank offers a full range of products and services to all Cambodians.
National Bank of Canada joined ABA Bank shareholders structure on July 15, 2014 by signing the Share Subscription Transaction Agreement with ABA Bank. With CDN$ 219 billion in assets as at January 31, 2016, National Bank of Canada forms one of Canada’s leading integrated financial groups. Headquartered in Montreal, it has branches in almost every Canadian province with 2.4 million personal clients. Its securities are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: NA).
