In addition to having its own national commercial arbitration law, Cambodia is also party to the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (New York Convention).
Cambodia also also has its own National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC). Arbitration can be ad hoc or centre-appointed, with flexible procedures and rules.
Arbitrators in Cambodia must undergo training and pass an exam to become members of NCAC.
