EuroCham’s 2024 ESG Awards Gala Dinner Recognises Sustainability Leaders

The 2024 ESG Contest & Awards Gala Dinner, hosted by EuroCham on November 20 at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh, united an enthusiastic audience to celebrate outstanding achievements in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

EuroCham thanked the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation and Khmer Enterprise for their support of the event, which was also attended by H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of MISTI, who presided over the ceremony, and H.E. Dr. Vanmunin Chhieng, CEO of Khmer Enterprise, for his participation.

The evening recognised companies and individuals leading the way in sustainability, innovation, diversity, and social impact. The gala dinner showcased the excellence in corporate responsibility in which leaders across various sectors shared their commitment to a better future. 

EuroCham’s 2024 ESG Winners

The winners of each category were congratulated for their extraordinary efforts:

  • Youth Leader Award: 3inClean – For their impactful efforts in empowering youth to take charge of environmental change, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication.
  • Technology Leader Award: Smart Axiata – Recognised for their innovative approach to harnessing technology to tackle ESG challenges and driving positive change in the sector.
  • Industry Partnership Leader Award: Six Senses Krabey Island – For their outstanding contributions to sustainable tourism and environmental stewardship, setting a high standard for responsible business practices.
  • SME Environment Leader Award: Voltra – Celebrated for their commitment to sustainability in their operations, prioritising energy efficiency and green technology solutions.
  • Corporate Environment Leader Award: NagaCorp – Awarded for their long-standing dedication to environmental responsibility and their substantial efforts in reducing their ecological footprint.
  • SME Diversity, Equity, and Social Leader Award: Cambodian Knits Handmade – For their outstanding contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion through fair labour practices and empowering local artisans.
  • Corporate Diversity, Equity, and Social Leader Award: HEINEKEN (Cambodia) Co., Ltd – Honoured for their commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace, fostering diversity in the workplace and community.

EuroCham added that the “event was a celebration of not just the winners, but also the collective dedication of Cambodia’s private sector and passionate youth in shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and socially responsible future.”
