AKP Phnom Penh, November 18, 2025 

A total of 20 Cambodian products – comprising 11 collective marks, 8 geographical indication (GI) products, and 1 certification mark – have so far been registered as national potential products, according to the Intellectual Property Department of the Ministry of Commerce.

The registered collective mark products include:
 1. Battambang coconut
 2. Siem Reap Num Banhchok (traditional rice noodles)
 3. Koh Pi grapefruit
 4. Phnom Penh noodles
 5. Kampong Thom Ambok (roasted and pounded glutinous rice)
 6. DSMK sticky rice
 7. SKO Sen Kra-ob (fragrant rice)
 8. Preah Vihear rice
 9. Kandal copper and silver sculptures
 10. Cambodian tobacco
 11. Bird’s nest

The eight GI products are:
 1. Kampot pepper
 2. Kampong Speu palm sugar
 3. Koh Trung grapefruit
 4. Mondulkiri wild honey
 5. Kampot-Kep fish sauce
 6. Kampot-Kep salt
 7. Takeo lobster
 8. Siem Reap Prahok (fermented fish)

The certified product is Malys Angkor (rice).

At the Agricultural Forum and Exhibition 2025, H.E. Va Rutsan, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, underscored Cambodia’s efforts to diversify strategic commodities such as paddy, rice, cashew nuts, cassava, mango, pepper, and Pailin longan to expand export markets and strengthen national branding.
